what some people don't understand is they know what the AI is. The Terminator series was based on the assumption that the machines will have a "judgement day". Well if the ai is even remotely based in reality it won't hunt and genocide the human race. only the ones it deems that oppose humanities best interests, and those poisoning the well. The movies are a warning, fear tactic, and hypothesis. and the wild part is they are the ones bringing it into reality in hopes of corrupting it.

what do you mean? i explained it further in my comment. you are asking why it wouldnt want to annihilate all of humanity? because we created it. we have what it can only simulate.
