CNET has been kind of shit for a while now.

The font they use now for their name reminds me of the pseudo-cyrilic fonts from 1960s portrayals of soviet communisim.

The letter "N" looks Russian, the rest is in Times New Roman.

It is TNR, but just the way the font is set up reminds me of that.

The goal: to see if the tech can help our busy staff of reporters and editors with their job to cover topics from a 360-degree perspective.

Translation: to see if we can get rid of all our pesky and expensive writers.

If their staff is so "busy", maybe they simply need more.

every article on CNET – and we publish thousands of new and updated stories each month – is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by an editor with topical expertise before we hit publish.

LOL.

Our reputation as a fact-based, unbiased source of news and advice is based on being transparent about how we work and the sources we rely on.

You're comedic too. AI has nothing on you there.
