I've been waiting over a year for this. Thank you.

Edit: In the install requirements it says you must have Python. I don't think I have that and if I do I don't know what it is or how to use it. I thought Python was a coding language?

Another Edit: So I tried installing it anyway and it all looked like it went fine. However, I can't find it in my system. Even doing a system search does not locate any mention of it. I dunno..... I'm really not good at this Linux stuff.

I can help you with it but I am a bit fried tonight.

Python is a programming language but its a interpreted programming language which means as long as the interpreter can run on your system you can run it (makes it more os-agnostic). -- It will also be installed by default on your linux system for various things. Lots of stuff uses it.

Are you installing this on a dedicated system or your laptop or something? I would probably suggest it be it's own thing if possible like on a raspberry pi in your house or a old PC with linux on it you can use as a "server" that is just always-on (reason for RPi suggestion is low power).

Did you do the one-line install or the native install. It matters. One is in docker (one-line), the other is directly on the system (native).

I don't have an extra. I just put it on my laptop that I use for everything. I'd appreciate a bit of help. It will have to wait a bit though. Heading out to get a haircut here in a few, grand kids tomorrow, and heading to Texas Saturday morning for about 5 or 6 days. I got a new Robot lawn mower for my property down there that I am going to set up. Look for some posts on that for sure!!

Sounds cool. Looking forward to info on that. I have always wanted to either buy or build one. Prospects for moving are looking better so maybe it is in my future to have one.

Have fun with the grand kids and just ping me when you want to look into it again. It should not be too hard for us to get things going for you.
