It really depends on how much you think you might use it and what your skill level is. Mine is old as hell and I have had to modify the fuck out of it to make it work better and to not burn my house down. @MrFadedGlory has a much newer setup that works great and is multi-color/type.

I suggest posting a new thread to /s/3dprinting to ask your questions. There are plenty of us here and we are all happy to answer questions or give suggestions. Who knows, maybe if I can move soon I'll upgrade and I send you my old one or something.
