Whenever there is a death penalty, is it inevitable that innocent men and women will be executed. By "innocent" I mean not guilty of the crime of which they were accused. Most accused have criminal records as long as your arm. The execution of innocents, which happens very rarely, is the price we must pay for the death penalty. In my opinion, it is a price well worth paying.

The argument against the death penalty is sort of like the argument against ending the Covid lockdowns. "If they are ended, a child might die, and one death is too many to risk, so the lockdowns must continue." Meanwhile, society is falling apart and going to hell.

Justice must be swift, it must be sure, it must be seen to have been administered, and it must be proportional to the severity of the crime. Murderers should be executed.

I agree. But i also feel thats its much better for a guilty man to go free rather than an innocent man be convicted
