Close to German, she is Ukrainian. Her Grandfather was part of Waffen SS in Ukraine.
With POW's and secret rescues, Canada brought over 450k Germans to Canada, but additionally Canada also brought that many of other Waffen SS back to Canada and we even brought thousands of Indian Asad Hind back to Canada.
