The Zombie Test for passive voice: Place the phrase, " by zombies." At the end of a sentence. If it still makes sense it is passive voice.

"The lawn was mowed by zombies" passive voice. "OP's mom mowed the lawn by zombies" <- does not make sense and is active voice.
