In part, I wasn't lying when I told that one guy who cornered me that "we're still looking for any additional marijuana plants." We *have* been constantly searching, but not for marijuana, of course. We're looking for any more of those creatures; who knows if the one we got is the only one? I'm just trying to justify lying, though. I have a deep disdain for it, but it's a lot of what this job entails. More and more so I've been thinking that I'm in the wrong profession... Anyway, we did find the one beast James and Stewart described. It's been sent to some place called "Locus AΩ." The beginning and the end. There, tests are being performed on it. Well, that's my guess, at least; I don't have that kind of clearance. Most of what I've heard about AΩ has been through rumors spread among the agents here. The rumors also say that James, his wife, his dog, and Stewart have all been sent there, too, though, I don't want to think what has been happening to them. James and the dog are the only two that experienced direct contact with the creature. Stewart and Maria have only second-hand exposure. I've been in this line of work long enough to make a pretty good guess that they will be separated based on level of exposure and given different tests. I know James said the creature spoke to him. To figure out the creatures intent, how it got here, what it's weaknesses are, etc., I'm sure they'll try to replicate this communication at AΩ. For the past three months, we've found no trace of any other creatures of the same kind. It seems like we'll be preparing to leave soon. Armed guards will stay stationed here for a while, and the entire farm and its fields will be gated off.
