I hung up on them and cursed most of the gods that I have to deal with "support" from companies that employ such useless morons. Then I figured out how to solve the problem myself on no sleep and a lot of caffeine. It was not a good day. I still want to punch that jackass. If I ever met them in person I probably would. Oh they were supposedly "tier 3/engineer" level "support". As in, people that are supposed to know what they are doing.
