We used AT&T terminals on the datakit network at Lucent. None of that Wyse shit.
The 3B20 units were only for testing, tho. They ran the CNI frames.

By dumb terminal, if you mean just a serial ASCII terminal, then almost anything would work. You could probably do it on an Arduino Mega feeding a Hercules-type monitor.
WYSE still makes stuff (under Dell's umbrella,) but they're thin clients running ThinOS.
