Turtles are pretty cool I guess. Sometimes in the spring I see babies trying to cross the road so I pull over and I carry them across. There's usually a lot of crushed ones on the road already and it makes me sad.

I always help them out of the road. I too have seen crushed baby turtles in the road.
My great-grandparents used to have box turtles in their garden. They would come to the door in the morning to get treats like tomato slices.
