Not shocking. The stuff you do is not well shared or documented. I know, I had family that did this kind of work. Even when the internet was around it was shared in close groups.

I think it's kind of cool that the stuff that I publish has become some of the canonically-selected sources by search engines.

That is very true as well. Few publish stuff like this at all anymore.
