well... it depends... I noticed during daytime in an well lit ambient, its better not to use dark mode, while at night with poor light dark mode is better... dunnoh.. i Guess everybody should check it for themselves, just pay attention how your Eyes / Eyeballs feel

I don't buy it. In dark mode, my eyes don't feel like an egg being slowly poached... dark mode FTW.

This is why I prefer colorschemes that are in-between. I find that black backgrounds strain my eyes with contrast whereas white is immediately more painful from the brightness. It's long-term vs short-term annoyance I guess. Black still wins though.
