Intel ARC cards? I am not looking for a video card for gaming instead for multi monitor. I know of no one who has any Intel ARC video cards.

Thoughts?

I've done major homework on them. Benchmark wise: Useless for rendering software and AI/Mining. That's not how they're designed. They're focused on budget gaming market almost exclusively. REQUIRE a board that has resizeable BAR. Most modern boards have this, but just make sure.

The biggest flaw in their role is what games are supported. Modern games it's pretty good. Performs around a 3060 or 6600 (not the TI or X models). The issue is older games. This can be VERY hit or miss depending on the game. No rhyme or reason to what does and doesn't work. Also, if it's being used on Windows...the performance is worse than it would be on Linux. They don't support their drivers super well, and as such, the open source drivers tend to be better.

Overall: If you just want a basic card for office use or light gaming, VERY compelling card. Would probably be ok if you just wanted a multi monitor set up. If I was me however, I'd go to newegg and get a used 2070 Super, 2080 ti, or 6600xt/6650xt for under 250. Much more bang for the buck, even if the Vram is capped at 8gb, because the drivers are much more mature. I got my 7700XT for 329 last month. I checked now and you can get 2080 Supers for under 250, and those are still dogs that hunt.
