Shit products from start to finish. They fall offline, fail after 13th months, no real fixes anyone can find, Like it’s firmware auto brick. I have some old monoprice units, built in clock, no WiFi that just fucking work. Only think I hate is they are just a hair too tall to get under the couch. I have like 8 Okp chink ones that I buy on egay for $20-30 bucks. Bad battery, then put in a 14$ amazon battery, stuff the beeper speaker with paper towels and tape over the tiny hole so it’s quiet, then deploy. The problem with the chink ones, they HAVE to have active WiFi or they won’t work. Won’t start, like there is no internal clock. I spawn an isolated ssid that gets time from the local ntp box, and that vlan has super locked down rules. But then again I don’t give a fuck if China has my floor plan as it looks like retareded niggers drew it based on their travel. Bring the missles. The vlan is client isolated so they can’t scan the network and such. But they are low profile, nearly no moving brushes like rooms that twists up hair, and they work for going on 2 years, daily.
