Once upon a midnight dreary, a company I worked for purchased a "mission critical" computer system that was supposed to be able to survive some unicorn dick spec they'd come up with.
Computer arrived, all connections were sealed together with hot glue. That was the hardening the manufacturer provided.
Retards at company proceeded to remove the glue and pull-and-reseat all connections. I asked the tech about that and he said "I know, that violates the warranty. I told them that but I was instructed to do this."
