This is pretty cool.

"I reverse-engineered a $20,000 military IP mesh radio using just $106.23 in open-source parts. This isn't a gimmick—it's a fully functional MANET router capable of push-to-talk, GPS sharing, ATAK integration, and more. In this video, I’ll show you how I built it, tested it, and deployed it in the real world—no subscriptions, no middlemen, just raw decentralized power. Whether you're off-grid, mission-ready, or just sick of Big Tech, this changes everything."

Guess Ill keep you in mind when I post random stuff about mesh and amateur radio too.

I am considering building/buying two of these just for putting in my and my Wife's car to have comm's when we are in the middle of fuck-all nowhere. That would be nice. Epically since you don't need to be HAM certified for it.

Have beofngs in each vehicle, external antenna can be deployed (can’t find the killer window clip ones anymore you can shut in the window) So if need more range.

Lora Lilly decks in each car also.

GMRS repeater at the house, and a Lora repeater.

I don’t ham, never got the license. Should go do the tests and get my tech.

GMRS repeater is for the entire neighborhood also. Some areas hard to get cell, but the repeater makes that work if on tractors or the utes.

Dog has a Tractive works great for the yearly price.

Just need the automated turrets. A drone jammer is on the list to do a kikedome over the house to disrupt any drones, seen that setup online. Have a propane tank meter targeted also, when goes down 100gal fire off email to provider to fill.

All faucets are freeze proof aquaphora ones, so for the most part this place is on cruise control 24/7/365.

Have water valves in a box haven’t installed: if no movement in house for 18 hrs, turn off water house side of softener.

Have a diagram for using 2”, 24v sprinkler valves for a rain water collect diverter, with pressure pump and pressure tank, and even return line to well house to fill the well water holding tank with rain water in wet times. All double uv filtered, with auto cutoff if uv light dies. Half that shit is waiting to get to install…maybe this winter.

And the remote cameras around the property, via buried cat6 direct burial, emt the tree, painted to match. Just scatter a few on poe to monitor the blond spots and “game” paths…

Don’t forget the adsb listener, and a weather station.

No I am not going to do sizemic sensors. Don’t need to overkill it :)

See, this is why I still internet. I need more "friends" like this.

You know, I would joke with you about using fiber for the cam's just because muh EMP's and shit but.. you know... Still have to power that shit and well... That cam is not going to survive the EMP anyway.
