That could have been a cool feature if they didn't fuck things up and force you to use one of their hubs now. You used to be able to control them locally with homeassistant but not anymore unless you have a hub that connects to "the mothership".
If anyone has suggestions for some good "automation" lamps I am all ears.
Also, if anyone wants some of these Philips Hue's that I no longer have use for, DM me.
