You know what, I just realised: I bought that 300 BAUD [massive full-length] ISO card for the Compaq Deskpro XT I had just prior to the 386 I built, and I managed to stuff that modem into the new box, at least briefly, until I bought a way faster modem! Well, it seemed kind of faster at the time... It was also totally smaller.
Man, I wonder what I did with that ancient XT. It had the prettiest partly wood case; they don't make 'em like that anymore! No, wait, they make them even nicer than that now! (system76.com)
