Probably different thermal load. I think I had that on a 3900x and it would scream when I booted a game.
The 5600g is lower power AND more efficient so the stock cooler is probably fine for it.

I've ran emulator games. Nothing that can stress this 5700G.

I have one of those liquid AIO's Its worked well but I think I want to get a bigger one. It feels like its just not quite good enough. Either way, I would just drop it into my storage server since it would do well for the Ryzen 7. Maybe not so much for my Ryzen 9.
