They are falling behind in their real estate portfolio. If they can't get people to use the offices and people keep moving AWAY from where the offices are then all of the real estate goes down in price (to a more sane level) which will hurt their valuations because these companies own MASSIVE campuses that rely on people wanting to be on or near them.

They can fuck themselves. Remote is here to stay. I already quit one place because I knew they were going to do a full RTO. The announced the RTO the day after my last day working there. Fuck them.

This. Google is falling behind on AI because they're training it to be a talmudic chatbot by schizophrenic jews and pajeets. They're in telaviv and Bangladesh to begin with. Only people who could be in the office are White guys who have to reverse engineer spaghetti code to keep the landing page loading. But the real reason they want people back is real estate valuations and to play casting couch with fresh college pussy
