Most manufacturing equipment is horrendously insecure. Super old, never updated, and some recent stuff like this wants not just network access but Internet access in order to do anything useful. Who cares that the BoschOS™ is actually a heavily skinned version of WinXP right? I'm honestly surprised this isn't in the news more often.
