It makes sense that they'd do that for development purposes.
Anyone who allows any kind of a smart device in their home deserves whatever happens. And unplug your TV when you're not watching it. Better yet, throw it away.
So, pretty much any type of electronic device you buy now has the ability to spy on you...

They do much more than that. Its mapping your house while it moves about and the camera will eventually track your purchases and personal items using AI. Then they sell your info to advertisers who will send you targeted ads based on the info they gathered. The info will also be added to your social credit profile. Got patriotic themed items in your home? Got a visible gun safe? You get classified into a category as a potential domestic terrorist.
