great achievements have been made by the Chinese team after years of intellectual property theft and lots of industrial espionage.

in a general sense the fusion reactions we create in experiments are not self sustaining and are meant to explore the technologies required to someday build a reactor which actually generates a net positive output. breakthroughs in material science, superconductivity, computer simulations, and physics have contributed to an interesting evolving storyline over the past 30 years on the topic. its obviously not an easy nut to crack.

You're assuming they're trying to build this for civilian use.

"A million amperes" doesn't mean anything, really... If that was at a millivolt it'd be a thousand watts.

The question is whether it puts out enough more watts than it consumes to be worth turning into a generator.

You are correct. I just assumed this contraption needed thousands of volts to do its deed. Added to the fact that all these esoteric devices being built by various state agencies are never about civilian use, but military use, they plan on using these things to kill or destroy society in every conceivable way.

I think it's what they claim it is. I don't see why they'd be putting it up in public otherwise.

They love to hide their weapons in plain sight. Look at the "vaccines". Especially, China loves to trot out their weapons in public view. I will concede the possibility of your point, but given what I'm seeing these days, I'm much more jaded. Time will tell.

No worries. China has plenty of coal plants to power it.

...And they do not give one fuck about pollution or global warming scams

Or killing you and taking your shit.

Oh, they care. They care about the climate funds coming from western nations to "developing" countries. They are getting paid by this hypocrisy. I wouldn't be surprised if they spent the carbon taxes we gave them to build a few of those coal plants.

The US has over 900 years of coal available
