Saw a guy recently whos phone battery caught fire on the kitchen counter while plugged in to charge. Luckily he put it out pretty quickly.

Surprised these don't happen more often. Li Ion batteries are embedded firebombs. Keep all unused devices with them in the oven or outside.

Chinese lithium batteries are firebombs. Japanese, Korean, and American batteries are no problem when used appropriately.

Stop buying Chinese batteries people. The Chinese can't manufacture anything to spec without close white or Japanese supervision and QC.
