Best anti virus for a older friend who has no tech skills

just want a decent price av for him that isn't costly but decent, and easy enough i do not have to go install it for him

he has avast but they went up on price on him and asked me to look around saw bit defender seemed price decent and popular. thanks ahead for advise (if wrong sub please move for me) and thanks

Just use windows defender if he's on windows. It's built in and you don't have to mess with it. Heuristics are pretty decent and you can set it to do what you want. Just tell him to stay off porn sites and don't follow weird links, he won't have to worry too much about viruses.
