best antivirus

Don't stick your dick in crazy.

Linux, specifically Kubuntu or maybe Mint.

Set it up with Brave browser and Libre Office and walk away. That'll cover 99% of common use cases and you never have to worry about being sodomized by Windows or what it invites in again.

People still use antivirus software?

Just use windows defender if he's on windows. It's built in and you don't have to mess with it. Heuristics are pretty decent and you can set it to do what you want. Just tell him to stay off porn sites and don't follow weird links, he won't have to worry too much about viruses.

Stay away from MalwareBytes. I used it for a while but it disables Windows Defender without even explaining it which eventually caused virus infection.

People keep windows defender enabled?

It's probably an unnecessary warning, but somebody should've said Not-Norton by now. It's like a subscription to malware.

Can he go Linux? I think Lindows is back?
