Don't forget, the range they say these cars have is inflated.

Depends on if you drive like a moron or not. You don't even have to try an electric car to know. If you can't get the advertised MPG for your car and there's not something wrong with the car, there's something wrong with the driver.

In my gas cars I can get about 10% better MPG than the window sticker, and in EVs I can get almost 50% more mileage than advertised.

But that, bad as it is, is not the main reason electric vehicles are impractical. It's the time it takes to charge them.

Only an issue if you plan on driving farther than the vehicle's range in that time period. If your car gets 300 miles to a charge and you drive less than 300 miles a day, charge time is irrelevant.

I'm trying to enjoy my battery replacements, but I've had one of them since 2012 and 163,000 miles and the battery is still fine.

I want a refund. I'm not getting all this enjoyment people with no actual experience claim I'm going to get.
