Now try to use those machines to power something else like a generator or a pump. They won't be able to because there is no excess energy to tap off. As soon as you put them under load, they stop working. The fact that for most of the video the guy had to keep moving the magnets in his hand shows that he had to put extra energy into the system to get it to turn. That's not free energy or perpetual motion. Even the last machine needed energy to start the process, but I suspect it is just another free energy trick machine that conceals a motor and power source inside the drum since the speed is constant.

Physics doesn't work this way.

Thermodynamics is neither fake nor gay. It just is. And the Laws of Thermodynamics say "your fixed magnets are cute, fag, but no."

Terrible designs, but their hearts in the right place. There’s better ways, Better control, better output. Perpetual motion is a farce, like balancing on the back two legs of a chair. Forward and you collapse to entropy, back more and you transform energy. The middle is a silly concept of neither . .000000001 over or .0000000001 under and it’s not perpetual motion.

I don't know why people are shitting on the idea. I have seen other magnetic perpetual motion machines. This one is nice because it obviously speeds up after the first rotation. I have also seen the Indian versions where they blow it with compressed air from off screen to make it spin.

Because it's not perpetual motion.

Why does it speed up?

Gravity.

The weight of unbalanced arm is counteracted by the magnetic field.

That weight offset gives it a nice acceleration as the arm falls.

Couple that with very low friction bearings and you have a nice toy that will spin for a few minutes.

Note the only way this toy will start is with the weight (potential energy) at (or near) the peak. Any other position and it would just sit there.

It's a nice toy, very well made. But, there is no magic.

Always remember the third law of thermydynamics. "When left to themselves, things tend to go to hell in a handbasket."
