My God, people are so fucking stupid, it hurts. It would take two weeks in bright sunlight to charge this thing enough for it to drive two hours.
Actually this design is based on the four-wheel DARPA challenge of a car that was four wheels with a sedan sized interior that could ride infinitely on the sunlight it could harvest from the road while it was driving. That's why this design is different. It was produced by the team that won that challenge. So they already won a challenge where a design similar to this did what they say.
One thing you don't see from the exterior photos is that there is a large raised tunnel area going down the middle of the vehicle which cuts the aerodynamic drag quite a bit without reducing interior side to side comfort very much.
