I can't imagine why it would NOT cut off a human limb just as easy. You can probably bet China has a "military" version of it. The thing is (in America at least) a laser that powerful would not be legal to own. (maybe with a federal license)

Cool but I wonder how you could precision fall with that. We own a tree company and sometimes there is zero room for mistakes.

Carve smaller sections out?

It would be neat if you could pre-program this with a routine then set it up and come back 3 hours later with little chunks of tree.

I think there is variables most of the time. Like the other day we cut a tree that was halfway grown through a shed roof, with power lines under branches, and a fence abutting the other side.

Not to mention having to ensure nothing is behind the target branch. You could cut your neighbors chimney off by mistake.

This is absolutly not avaiable to civilians or any private company. Most likely scenerio is its fake but even if its real this is just a CCP propaganda video.

In china you have to register your drivers license at every gas station you purchase fuel from because gasoline can be used to make explosives. but you think they will let some landscaping company have lazers that can sever limbs?
