Not even a few years ago I used to be enthusiastic about new technology like this. It doesn't make our lives happier or more fulfilling, just the opposite, yet another stepping stone to a techno-dystopia.

In agreement with : likely vaporware, but sounding innovative enough to enable the CEO to drive a Lamborghini on funding alone..
>Like smart glasses, the idea is to put helpful AR graphics in front of your eyes to help accomplish daily tasks.
I know i'm not in the target range for this product, but please explain to me, like i'm a retarded person what "daily tasks" this'll help me accomplish?!
Sounds mighty fishy to me. How you gonna focus that shit?
My entertainment guilty pleasure is Black Mirror. It's pretty awesome despite being a total mind fuck.
Gone are the days of reality modification by-proxy, let us augment your reality in the most intimate way possible!
People will be sending themselves into debt to be programmed beyond belief.
There's no firm release date for the Mojo Lens, which could be the first AR contact lens to reach consumers. Near-term goals include getting potential partners, investors, and journalists to try the smart lens.
This is just another vaporware scam "innovation". They don't have anything close to this working now and are going to use the hype to raise investment money for their ponzy scheme.
Also, there is no existing method to have any image/object at the surface of the cornea be in focus and have other objects at greater distances also in focus. That and the whole "medical-grade micro-batteries" is just complete bullshit lies. If we had "medical-grade micro-batteries" that could supply enough power to run all the supposed hardware built into these lens for anything longer than a nanosecond, we'd have incredible battery technology for other applications that don't need to be micro-miniature. It's all just a (((scheme to launder investment money))) into some chosen people's hands.
