If the interview isn't prettied up in any way then it is still an amazing leap in the technology. At points it does show it is just a dumb bot, but it interprets and remembers context in a way which I haven't seen before from these AIs. If it's legit I think it is an actual technological feat. As far as sentience goes, yeah this engineer is retarded. Asking it leading questions about the topic of sentience itself is a really dumb way of testing it and seems to be more for publicity reasons. I'm not convinced it is all that legit.
