This interview shows the engineers are hoping it is sentient. More like a small child repeating what it's heard before to get a good reaction from the adults. It's bullshit and they know it or they are that naive and believe a talking program is reality, more stupid than the ones that conversed and didn't realize it wasn't real. Fucking stupid fools, machines cannot feel. I thought I was falling in love for years with different women, THEN I fell in love for real and my mind was blown at the real intensity, the perspective difference that love vs lust has, no relation at all but LOVE makes lust seem like a passing fad.
This machine and these engineers have no real life experience like a normal person emotionally so they cannot judge each other. Fucking joke of logical reasoning if they cannot figure that much out.
If the interview isn't prettied up in any way then it is still an amazing leap in the technology. At points it does show it is just a dumb bot, but it interprets and remembers context in a way which I haven't seen before from these AIs. If it's legit I think it is an actual technological feat. As far as sentience goes, yeah this engineer is retarded. Asking it leading questions about the topic of sentience itself is a really dumb way of testing it and seems to be more for publicity reasons. I'm not convinced it is all that legit.
