Also. When you format the drive and restore a mac, there exists a hidden storage that has info about you such as wifi password. So when you go to sell your Mac, whoever buys it, will be able to log in to your wifi unless you change it on your router. God knows what else is on there.

Well, lucky for me I will never format the mac or sell it. Like all my old computers, when they die I take them out to the burn pit and use them for long-range target practice.
