They have 'smart' ai accounts from DoD that control the narrative. That means they are the ACTIVE MAJORITY.
This is the real story. Beyond bots.
The two statements are not mutually exclusive. It could be that only 5% of accounts are bots but comprise 12% of twitter traffic.

Fake news. The article is trying to deflate the numbers. They know people know 5% is bullshit. Wait till the real numbers eventually come out... The TwitterTards won't know what to do with themselves. They'll be all alone with hardly any followers.
its more about Twitter promoting bots / coordination while filtering real voices. and the fact that many (much more than 12%) of the posting/retweeting of politicians and F500 brands are bots. It's standard practice for people who want to build hype/following to buy tweets/retweets/fake accounts.
