If you are running windoze, there may be a recovery partition, but before you atempt to recover it, back up everything you want to keep.do a restart and get into the bios, either f1 or enter key. look at the partitions on the drive and look for a recovery partition. my windows 10 has a menu for recovery but like you said ; it won't boot. you can get lenova recovery files here :https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103653-lenovo-digital-download-recovery-service-ddrs-download-the-files-needed-to-create-a-lenovo-usb-recovery-key all is not lost, but can be frustrating. if you can remove the drive and copy everything with a sata wire , you won't lose everything before you restore to default.
