Honestly all the upcoming tech we have now is a degree between utopian and dystopian. Augmented reality could be an absolute game changer for guiding humanity and progressing us towards a bright future, but the distopian side is cumbrain losers watching porn on the run or having mcdonalds advertised to you while going on a nature walk.

Like, AR could easily present educational applications that guide people through doing things and offer real time tutorials with every conceivable educational subject, but instead its going to be some kiked dystopian bullshit.
