Why is it history making for a product to fall below MSRP? Just considering Nvidia for a moment, 3xxx GPUs have been out for a while. 4xxx GPUs are already in the "details leaking out" stage. The newest GPUs available are a bit old. You used to be able to find all kinds of deals on GPUs. What's unusual has been the shortage.
