Good suggestion. Came use Proprietary software if hardware os common or else one mind need build custom hal drivers for gpu maybe custom audio drivers and such

It was hacked on day 1. It was even hacked before wide release. Valve even shared a video of how to mod it. And of course you could use a mini PC on a board to build your own (hackendeck).
