Don't get me started on being left-handed.
Being left-handed and having shit designed for right-handed people is inconvenient or irritating, but that's mostly it. It costs a lot of money to have two designs for a product and two sets of tooling and assembly lines.
Even though 1 out of 8 white men have color-deficient vision, almost nothing is designed with that in mind even though it costs nothing to do so and it causes no inconvenience to others. Just because fuck you. For example, battery chargers that change lights from red to green to indicate they're done. They could turn the red light off when it's done. They could blink the light while it's charging. They could do all kinds of stuff. But, no. It's better to do it so12% of the men using the product can't fucking use it.
Damn i didnt even think about this. My grandfather was colorblind.
It's even worse that they design things so that these men can't be pilots or train engineers, either. The only thing that would have to change is the shade of green and red they use for lights. They don't even have to change the color.
