Websites and appliances are sensing us even when the camera is off. Anyone know how to block a radar in appliances?

I think it's important to keep a few things in context here:

Most mobile phones DO have an amazing set of sensors, accelerometer and magnetometer in particular. This allows software to tell which way you hold the phone, where north is, and detect movement patterns in 3D. At least the o/s is being a little bit transparent in letting the user know when these sensors are trying to be accessed by apps (browsers included) running on the phone.

Smart watches and other heart rate monitors provide more sensor data to your phone over bluetooth, which then becomes accessible to apps.

But all that is separate from your home appliances...at least in 2022. I can see how newer appliances will start to integrate sensors like radar, as an attempt to compete in the smart device ecospace. I have not personally reviewed tech specs of appliances recently, but I highly doubt that those being made today are secretly integrating sensors like radar. Soon they may, but not yet.

What appliances are using radar in them? Do you have any proof that there are any radar or microwave related sensors in any appliance?
