Good thing they're warrantied for 100,000 - 150,000 miles depending on the model. If you had to replace your battery at 100,001 miles you would get another 100,000 miles. $13,000 prorated over 200,000 miles is 6.5 cents per mile. Still half the cost of a gas car that gets 30 mpg.
