Yeah he cheated. He plugged a Pentium OverDrive upgrade chip meant for a 486 board into a 486 board and pretended he did something amazing. He didn't even need to use the extra socket since that socket was meant for a 486 processor anyway.

I would say its a 386 board that supports 486... makes more sense that way..
probably came out when 486 was on the horizon or had just came out and was still very expensive, so to sell the 386 they offered it upgradable to 486..
