Cables come to the surface somewhere nearby. Fifty meters underground means having to run pumps to keep the data center from flooding. It's not secure enough from water, especially salt water. There also needs to be air exchange and ventilation going on. A heavy, oxygen displacing gas like sulfur hexafluoride would be a problem if it got down the ventilation shafts. Just saying it's not impervious, in Minecraft of course.
