If you're planning to play, a VM might not be a good idea (3D support is working, but much slower than native).
You can multi-boot with another HDD/SSD or Partition with a Windows install clean from anything but Epic Games Launcher.

VM as in Virtual Machine?
So what you're saying is, if I want to play Fortnite, I have to put a separate hard drive into my computer and clean install Windows onto that and play Fornite off of that?
Also, are you saying I have to wipe all of my files from my computer and clean install Windows to get rid of the bad Epic Games Launcher?
