We have direct brain interfaces now working on pigs that would work on humans if legally allowed, 3d metal and plastic printers can make anything, computers can do everything including understanding language, we can clone humans just like cows sheep and horses buts its illegal, spacex is going to get the super cheap rocket thing done, there is internet around world with starlink, solar panels are so cheap that free energy is now real (you can now build a small solar panel powered boat or even go cart like car that can literally take you anywhere in the world for free forever like a magic carpet), you can speak to anyone in any language around the world on your smartphone, all the world's knowledge is at your finger tip. We have flying surf boards and jetpacks that are so good they can fly you to 30,000 ft at 100 mph. That's basically being superman now.

We have virtual reality goggles with higher resolution than the human eye and you can step into Microsoft flight simulator and experience a tree level accurate virtual earth based on live satellite data.

Oh yeah and sex dolls so real you can't tell them from people in lots of photos. And soon they will be animated and connected to ai minds giving you full size humanoids.

Most future things that haven't happened are in health but thats because giant monopolies actively prevent them. In fact most restrictions on tech now are legal and not scientifically limited.

What more can you want in tech? Its almost all done.

I think the thing I have realized is it was the anticipation and the thinking about how it could all be done that inspired and excited me. Now that its there I really don't care as much about it. Now wait until you find out that black budget programs have had compartmentalized organizations, agencies and military systems that have, for decades (at least fifty), been decades ahead of anything in the civilian world.

Hell, there were smartphones like we use today in the eighties. There were intricate biometric systems in regular use in the seventies... I could keep going, but it's important to note that programs like Stargate, the television series, are both disclosure and entertainment. The only way the "good guys" could convey this understanding to the public was through "entertainment" which offered them plausible deniability. You'll notice eventually that the kinds of things governments deny and call conspiracy theories are actually depicted in plenty of types of media in ways that afford them said plausible deniability. Directors get silenced or killed often. Sometimes, they're even people you think are evil or on the "bad guy" side. The trick is you often think they're on the "bad guy" side because they made a movie or series about something they were informed of or because of an inspiration they got from a third party who asked them to show a fictional representation of what they know which got them in trouble and consequently their reputation attacked.

You guys might be surprised at how common these kinds of things are. There's definitely been a concerted effort to get people to not learn about mythology or "conspiracy theories" and connect them to different kinds of media. You didn't think "Star Wars" was just a cool movie series, did you?

I have no doubt t Townsend Brown's flying electrodiscs have been perfected for decades and probably provide zero g turns and possibly high speed interplanetary or possibly even time travel . His daughter claimed government time travelers associated with her father.

From what I've seen/read/heard, "time travel" doesn't work like most people think. There's a lot more nuance than "your body is now in X year". The time travel shows don't really seem to do the idea justice. Besides, "viewing" past or future is a complicated affair. If I had to guess, Travelers might be a somewhat close rendition, but even parts of that show seem sort of retarded and for various reasons. I know I'm not really saying anything here, but TT is one of the things I'll admit most people don't talk about and when they do, I'm not sure I ever really understand what they're saying.

Maybe on TV they did but in real life they did not. Turn off your TV, they did not have anything like today's smart phones in the 80s and the biometrics in the 70s were few and far from what you see now or 20 years ago.

We are at a point where no one needs government or central utilities and those who own them are trying their best to keep us from switching. Arguably you meed roads but that'd only becuase the gas outlaws self flying vehicles that could now fly you anywhere without any roads and without you know how to fly. after all consumer drones can fly across country to multiple gps waypoints and the same tiny aurdino autopilot could fly you in bigger craft.

Construction and Food, Mining

Taxes that are beyond necessity flushed down the toilet, especially 100% style taxes like the income tax. We should be billed like an invoice for the government's services rendered. If this isn't fixed ALL THE REST DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER! Because they'll just increase / racket up the tax system to squeeze out all of the new tech's economic efficiency boosts.

The biggest limiter is monopolistic control of tech and abusive government regulation. It is no longer the tech itself.

There isn't really monopolistic control of tech. A lot of these companies run "tech" that are the equiv of jacked up homework assignments for a talented developer. Where they end up being the dominating player is the market is the banks won't allow any up and coming competition have a credit card processor. They literally will not let them operate as a business. So they can't get proper income flow to hire artists, advertising, content creators, big name people to join their platform etc.
