LOL, I worked for Intel a bit and bad chips would come back. We'd open them up to find AMD dies inside! Apparently, people would flood coat AMD chips and reprint Intel logos and part numbers on them. Eventually, intel switched to laser etching part numbers and logos. That helped a little.
