They need the arm chips for all the drones they are building. They'll sink the US fleet in the Taiwan strait. Those arm chips are going into flight controller boards, cameras and compute for inferencing engines that can easily run software trained to recognize a carrier group and pick targets. I figure a multi pronged attack of autonomous loiter drones and different devices that can be dropped to the sea floor and just wait to be activated then hunt targets. They can do it completely without hypersonics but they have those too. They will use their conventional fleet as a decoy and a distraction.
