You'll notice that *everything* they add to "smartphones" these days IS spyware Facial Recognition, more+better cameras, more+better mics, finger print scanners, biometric sensors, GPS, fucking LiDAR, etc. etc. etc. It's ALWAYS painted as being "useful" for one thing or another. Yet, despite all the bullshit in smartphones, one can live a fully capable and happy life without any of that shit.
